Born on June 1st 1926 in Hampshire, Aubrey Morris has worked with McGoohan on four different productions. The pair first worked alongside each other on the 1962 film 'The Quare Fellow', where McGoohan played a new prison warden and Morris an inmate serving life who quickly commits suicide. Morris then appeared in three fifty-minute episodes of Danger Man, the last being 'The Paper Chase' where he plays the role of Italian thief and opportunist 'Tamasio'. Morris then appeared again alongside McGoohan playing the Roman Emperor in The Prisoner episode 'Dance of The Dead'.
Morris made many film appearances, including roles in Expresso Bongo, The Quare Fellow, The Sandwich Man, The Great St Trinian's Train Robbery, Up The Junction and A Clockwork Orange. His many television appearances include Oliver Twist, The Sentimental Agent, The Saint, Z Cars, Danger Man, Softly Softly Task Force, Man In A Suitcase, The Champions, Catweazle, Liver Birds, On The Buses and The Sweeney.
His last cooperative work with McGoohan was on the Columbo episode 'Ashes to Ashes'. |
