Born in Wiltshire on December 27th 1934, Christopher Benjamin appeared in three Prisoner episodes, 'Arrival' as the 'Labour Exchange Manager', 'The Chimes of Big Ben' as 'Number 2's Assistant' and 'The Girl Who Was Death' as 'Potter', incidentally, the same character name he had when appearing in the Danger Man episode 'Koroshi' in 1966.
Over the years, he has appeared in many popular television dramas, including Z Cars, Orlando, Forsyte Saga, The Avengers, The Saint, Jason King, The Onedin Line, Poldark, Dr Who, Get Some In, Chintz, Dick Turpin, The Diary of Anne Frank, Yes Prime Minister, The Tomorrow People, Pride & Prejudice, Foyle's War, Midsomer Murders, Judge John Deed and Heartbeat. |
