In the study of the house on the remote Scottish island, the housekeeper holds a gun pointed at John Drake, while his daughter keeps another firmly pressed into his back. Drake tries to make some plausible excuse for his presence in the kitchen, but with the evidence of the skeleton keys in his hand there is nothing he can say.
