The fifth script to be written by Philip Broadley, ‘The Mirror’s New’ was originally entitled ‘The Paris Story’. It was the 21st Danger Man episode of the new series to be shot and was filmed at MGM Borehamwood studios between Monday 18th January and Monday 1st February 1965.
Bierce holds an important job in France, however he likes the ladies and has borrowed money to fund his lavish life style. When he cannot repay his money lender, in reality a Soviet agent who is blackmailing him, he shoots him and conceals his body behind a mirror in his playboy apartment. After concealing the body Bierce has an accident and is rendered unconscious. When he fails to show for an important meeting Drake is sent for. Bierce appears back on the scene a day later but Drake is not falling for his story and investigates and uncovers his secret lifestyle.
