Danger Man Filming Locations  [Back to the homepage]

This page identifies some of the locations used during the filming of Danger man. I have added a 'now' shot showing how the locations look today, however sometimes over the years locations have altered - buildings have changed or demolished and so some will never be found. The where-abouts of these locations were obtained from the fantastic A Guide To Avengerland website.

Some of the later episodes filmed at Shepperton Studios use locations within the grounds of the studio, click here to view these.

Whatever Happened to George Foster?  [View Episode Details]

We never see Drake go into or come out of his house, but Groom Place SW1 is shown as his house in this episode.

"Certhia Cooper arrives back from South America and is driven to her office “The Society For Cultural Relations with South America"" which is on Gordon Square, London."

"Another shot of the offices of “The Society For Cultural Relations with South America"" which is on Gordon Square, London."

Drake travels to Wales to find out more about George Foster. An opening shot of Britannia Bridge over the Meni Straits is shown. The bridge has changed slightly because it caught fire in 1970 and was rebuilt with iron arches as opposed to just the stone pillars.

The establishing shots of the church where Drakes talks to the vicar who is gardening, is the bell tower of St Andrews Church, Totteridge, North London.

Drake is trying to dig up the past on Lord Ammanford and talks to the old Nanny. She show's him a photograph of the Ammanford's old home, which is now a school. This is Ettington Park, Warwickshire.

Drake visits the Taylor Car Hire Company to enquire about George Foster. The Car Hire Building still exists on London Road, Shenley - although the pitched roof has been replaced with a flat roof. The building in the background is still pretty much the same.

Drake leaves the Taylor Car Hire Company with the motorcycalist giving directions. Drake drives up London Road, Shenley. The car hire building, bus stop and shop are all still there today.

After making his escape in a stolen police car Drake drives up Shenley Road, Boreham Wood, London.

Drake then turns off Shenley Road onto Theobald Road, Boreham Wood, London.

Drake arrives at the home of Charlie Hewitt in the stolen police car. This house is located on New Road, Shenley. It has been modified with more windows added and doors removed - but it is still recognisable.

Another shot of New Road, Shenley showing Charlie Hewitt's house in the row.
