Danger Man Filming Locations  [Back to the homepage]

This page identifies some of the locations used during the filming of Danger man. I have added a 'now' shot showing how the locations look today, however sometimes over the years locations have altered - buildings have changed or demolished and so some will never be found. The where-abouts of these locations were obtained from the fantastic A Guide To Avengerland website.

Some of the later episodes filmed at Shepperton Studios use locations within the grounds of the studio, click here to view these.

A nervous Charles Glovers looks from the window of his house on Church Row, Hampstead where a plain clothes agent is watching him.

Glover emerges from his house on Church Row, Hampstead. Later a surveillance van is parked outside the Glover house and Drake listens in on Mrs Glovers conversations.

Glover crosses over the road to the postbox and posts a 'goodbye' letter to his wife. St John's Church of Hampstead is seen in the background.

Glover leaves his office in a rush, hurries down the 'Clive Steps' and hails a cab on Horseguards Road.

Drake arranges for Mr and Mrs Glover to meet in a spot away from the hotel so they can talk about his defection without the interference of Nicos. This is the Miner’s Bridge over Afon Llugwy, Betws y Coed, North Wales.

A shot looking down from the Miner’s Bridge over Afon Llugwy, Betws y Coed, North Wales.

The beach shots where Nicos leaves in his boat to collect Charles Glover and later where Drake's dinghy is overturned by Nicos's speedboat were filmed at Gallow's Point, Beaumaris, Anglesey.

Nicos convinces the Glovers that they cannot return home and drives them to a crossing point from Greece to Albanian. They travel along a narror road and across a bridge which is Pont Ty'n y Maes off the A5 near Bethesda, North Wales.

Nicos abandons the car before taking the Glovers by foot to border. He leaves the car on the track leading from Pont Ty'n y Maes off the A5 near Bethesda, North Wales.

Nicos and the Glover's are on route to the Albanian border, follwed by Drake in a stolen van. The party climb into the hills and are able to see Albanian guards on the border. These shots were filmed above the car park at Nant Ffrancon, Gwynedd.
